The M. S. Ramaiah Foundation celebrated it's 10th Annual Day - Sangama 2017, at the BEL Kalakshetra on 25th of March, 2017. As the name itself indicates, it was a confluence of arts, culture, and sports on that day. It was the culmination of all the cultural and sporting activities of the various institutions under the M. S. Ramaiah Foundation that were held during the academic year

. The day started off with an Invocation by Ms. Chaitra via a veena recital, ably accompanied by Dr. Balasubramanyam on the Mrudungam and Ms. Deepika. After the Invocation, the students were treated to a variety of entertainment programs such as song, dance, and theme walk. The entertainment program continued well after lunch and concluded by 4.30 PM in the evening, after which the valedictory function was conducted.

The chief guests for the valedictory function were Mr. Justice John Michael D' Cunha (honorable judge of the High Court of Karnataka) and Mr. Chiranjeevi Singh (advisory board member of the M. S. Ramaiah Foundation and former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka). The function was presided by Dr. M. R. Pattabiram, Director of the M.S. Ramaiah Foundation and Prof Arun Chandra Mudhol, Associate Dean of the various institutes under the M. S. Ramaiah Foundation.

Prof Arun Mudhol welcomed the gathering, followed by the introduction of chief guests by Dr. M. R. Pattabiram.

Justice Michael D' Cunha in his valedictory address spoke about how when the students get out of the protective environment of the educational institute, will have to face the harsh realities of the corporate world. He urged the students to prepare themselves for the tough journey ahead and wished them good luck in all their future endeavors.

Mr. Chiranjeevi Singh spoke about the importance of ethics and integrity in a student's life and how they will serve the students in the long run. He pointed out that unethical practices may fetch short term returns, but in the long term will ruin a person.

After the valedictory addresses, students and staff of the M. S. Ramaiah Foundation who had won laurels at the various cultural and sporting events were given away merit certificates and awards. Staff and students who had worked tirelessly to plan and organize the various events were recognized too and given away certificates and awards.

The function ended with a Vote of Thanks by Prof Prasad Linganna and the rendering of the national anthem.
